Patrick Ochieng is a Kenya-based scholar activist and the founding director of Ujamaa Center, a social justice NGO that has provided invaluable contributions in Kenya to building social movements concerned with steering the world to greater equity, social and environmental justice and people’s participation in public affairs. Ochieng studied at the Kenya Polytechnic and proceeded for a Post Graduate Diploma in Land and Agrarian Studies at the University of Western Cape. He has over 20 years’ experience in natural resource, land and extractives activism in Africa and globally.
