EXERCISE – WALKSBy Phil Bartle, PhDTraining HandoutRegular exercise keeps us healthyVery often community work puts us in locations where there are no fitness gyms nor organized team sports. No problem; the most effective regular exercise for us is a brisk walk, daily or at least four time per week, Regular exercise helps our bodies to fight disease. It also stoimulates our body to produce endorphins, which make us feel happy. A daily walk gives us time away from the myriad of problems and issues of mobilization, so we return with a more clear mind, and often with solutions that do not appear in the midst of the traffic congestion and stress of problems. As with most things, do not over do it. Daily walks should be regular and not too intense. ––»«––© Copyright 1967, 1987, 2007 Phil Bartle
