ELENA GABRIELA HOSU

Romanian Translator and Proof-Reader

Profile

I was born and raised in Romania. I am twenty six years old and since I was a child I loved languages and how they sound. I used to watch different foreign channels on TV. So, at the beginning I have learnt some English, German, Spanish, and Italian.

I went to University of Foreign Languages and Literatures, English – Spanish for three years, but because of some health problems I had to give up for a while.

I have followed also an online course of Ancient and Biblical Greek at Houston University. I was very happy getting a Certificate of Attendance.

I am married with a great lovely man and I am the mother of a baby girl of three years old, who is God’s miracle and my reason of living, my love, my happiness…she is everything to me.

I love traveling, reading books, writing, learning different languages, helping others in every possible ways and I love being a mother, a wife and a true friend.

My work as a volunteer has taught me something about translating, about new programs on the computers, but the most has taught me that in this world exist good people too, who care about the others, who are happy just by helping the others to know / meet the happiness. Maturity, humanity begins to grow when you can sense your concern for others outweighing your concern for yourself.

As you grow older, you'll discover that you have two hands: one for helping yourself, the second for helping others. What the heart gives away is never gone.... it is kept in the hearts of others.

We all have a mountain to climb, whether physically, spiritually, emotionally or otherwise. Sometimes, life makes it harder for others...A kind word or a smile can give MUCH power to the receiver. It also does some good for the giver too. God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. Only helping each other, understand each other we can bring peace to the world and in our hearts. True friendship is the cement that holds the world together.

Make every day count. Appreciate everything that you possibly can, for you may never experience it again. Talk to people whom you have never talked to before and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to.

Keep your heart open to dreams. For as long as there's a dream, there is hope, and as long as there is hope, there is joy in living.
